Coach Peter Apps, teammates, family and friends celebrated York Seniors Nathan Apps and Rebecca Lee.

Mr. Apps' Forensics students are conducting investigative interviews with various teachers and staff as part of their class project to collect the evidence gathered and solve the crime.

Junior Eli Cunningham was a guest presenter in Mr. Schneider's History class today, talking to students about one of his passions - the Civil War.
Eli participates in Civil War reenactments.

Mrs. Titus' third graders are focused on their lesson in the new reading/phonics program, HD Word.
This program helps students learn how to break apart the sounds in words and put them back together. It helps them to improve reading accuracy by building understanding of the sound patterns in the words they read and write.

York CSD's Close Up club is hosting a chicken barbecue on Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in room 113 (A wing, HS gym door).
Take-out or eat-in. Stay and watch the 3 p.m. Boys Junior Varsity Basketball game!

Students in Mrs. Savage's High School Health class played a game called Come On 6, an activity that teaches students how circumstances affect a person's emotions and reactions. Come On 6 encouraged wellness conversations such as:
"How did the level of excitement or stress change as people got closer to 100?"
"How can we compare this activity to stress in our lives? "

Ron and Mary Ann Roessel, owners of 3 Seasons Lawncare and Landscaping once again are helping to make the season bright for York area families.
In the spirit of giving, the Roessels donated several gift cards,
enlisting the help of special elf, School Resource Deputy Kane, who asks each recipient one question: "Do you believe in Santa Claus?"
Mr. and Mrs. Roessel have generously donated gift cards for several years, helping many families experience the goodwill of the community this holiday season.
