Saturday - 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Good attendance matters...and it paid off for the Freshman Class of 2029.
Middle/High School Principal Mr. Passarell and Counselor Mrs. Hussar treated the students to a pizza party to recognize their outstanding 98% attendance for the first quarter of the school year. The students had a good time having lunch together, and random names were drawn for Mrs. Hussar's prize bag.

Once again, our York/Pavilion football alumni gathered on Thanksgiving morning for their annual Turkey Bowl game.

The October staff spotlight shines on Peter Fanaro (District-wide), Kaitlyn Coleman (Middle/High School), and Sheri Nevinger (Elementary School). Individually and collectively, they embody the Golden Knights Way.

Katie is always willing to lend a hand by taking students to the loft, covering the phones and desk for other professionals and giving new students tours when they are joining the district. Katie is a positive person who brings sunshine to the Golden Knights family and community.

Last night, at the November meeting, The YCS Board of Education accepted Superintendent David Furletti's retirement resignation letter. After nine successful years of service to the York Central School District, Superintendent Furletti's final day will be July 31, 2026.
We offer Mr. Furletti our best wishes on his retirement.
