15 York students competed in this year's 14th Annual Tech Wars event held at Genesee Community College in Batavia. The event is open to all surrounding schools in the Genesee, Livingston, Orleans, and Wyoming County areas. Middle School students who attend competed in the Co2 Speed, Co2 design, and Catapult competitions, while the high school attending competed in the SUMObot competition. Tech Wars offers 26 competitions and drew in a record crowd of over 800 students competing from each of the G.L.O.W. region schools. YCS had a number of students place in their respected categories:
