The 9th grade Global Studies classes and the Sociology 101 class visited the Memorial Art Gallery in Rochester, gallery to view exhibits of ancient art. The museum guides provided great insight into each exhibit and the students learned a lot from the tour.
After the MAG visit, the students and teachers had lunch at the King and I restaurant in Rochester where they experienced Thai food.
Mrs. Ivers, their teacher, said the students really enjoyed the Memorial Art Gallery and for many students, it was the first time they had sampled Thai food. They loved it!

This month's lunch and learn opportunity for high school students featured a look at careers in the construction trades.
Assistant Director of Workforce Development for Livingston Associates, Clair Schroeder, met with students in Mr. MacKenzie's classroom where she discussed the different trades, their salary scales, and how to enter the trade.
