Hello YCS Families. We are sharing some recent headlines from the Golden Knights Athletic Department.

Sophomore Grace Northrop set a new Golden Knights swim record in the 100-yard Butterfly with her time of 
1:04.53, shattering her own three-day-old record of 1:06.24, which broke a 30-year record.___________________________________________________________________________________________________
Senior Grace Hopkins set a new York Indoor Track record at their January 30, 2026 meet at Houghton University.______________________________________________________________________________________________
Senior Tessa Rodwell set a new Golden Knights school record in Girls Basketball at the January 30 game. Tessa broke York’s all time leading score which was 1,425 held by Varsity Girls Basketball Coach Kaitlin Kolb from 2004. Tessa ended that game with 1,430 points and still growing!

Senior Parker Bonefede joined the 1,000 point club in the game on January 16, 2026. Since then, Parker had scored several more career points.
