Tradition and Innovation: The Golden Knights Way

York Central School is  nestled in the beautiful Genesee Valley where epic golden sunrises and sunsets appropriately symbolize our school mascot, The Golden Knight!

Tradition and innovation exist side-by-side. We are proud of our academic excellence, innovative programming, award-winning fine arts, and community spirit. Our school is the center of the community where students are known by name, and lifelong connections are formed between families, staff, and neighbors.

York Central School is competitively ranked among our neighboring districts. We are a U.S. News & World Report’s Best High School

and received the distinctive Best Communities for Music Education Award. Our strong academic and enrichment programs foster students’ curiosity and critical thinking skills.
