Bio

Dr. Daniel Murray grew up in Mt. Morris and attended St. John Fisher College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. While at Fisher, he also became certified as an elementary school teacher. Dr. Murray then taught for nine years, primarily in the Fairport Central School District. He earned a Master of Education degree and his Certificate of Advanced Studies in Educational Administration from SUNY Brockport. He was the assistant elementary principal in Le Roy, K-12 Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Wheatland-Chili, and principal at Wheatland-Chili Middle School over the past six years. He earned a Doctor of Education degree from the University of Rochester in 2008.

Dr. Murray and his wife, Elizabeth, live in Scottsville with their four children.
