This summer has been very busy.  We had our first-ever elementary summer program with almost 40 students in attendance.  This will give them a "boost" heading into September.  We also hosted a very successful summer recreation program.  Thank you to the Towns of York and Leicester and all the staff for another great year!

Our buildings and grounds staff has done an outstanding job cleaning, moving rooms, and preparing our school for everyone to return.  Remaining funds from the recently completed capital project allowed us to do some work outside the building.  This includes a new digital marquee sign, newly resurfaced tennis courts, and some paving that has yet to be completed.  Another exciting component that money was used for is a portion of the cost for a brand-new playground!  The old playground has been taken down and the site work is being done.  The new playground will be installed in September.  We appreciate all the generous donations from the community that made this a reality.

We will be adopting a new Long Range Plan this fall that will chart the Golden Knights' Way for the next few years.  With great people and a great plan in place, our students and school are poised for continuous improvement.  I am excited for the new year to begin!
